Adam Smith Business School Prize for PhD Excellence

I'm delighted to receive one of the 2016 Adam Smith Business School Prizes for PhD Excellence. The prize was awarded for my PhD dissertation, Essays on Financial Contracts and Business Cycles. The other very worthy winners of the 2016 prizes are Dr Ding Liu and Dr Huichou Huang. The Adam Smith Business School has posted a short article on the prize and our work here. I am particularly indebted to my supervisors, Prof. Charles Nolan and Prof. Cambpell Leith and everybody in the excellent Macro Group at the University of Glasgow for their support and encouragement.
